Clothing – Dress for Norwegian Winter Conditions

Our boats are completely open, and temperatures on the water may feel significantly colder than on land.

Warm clothing is essential. We strongly recommend thermal wool layers, an insulated and windproof winter jacket, warm trousers, a hat, gloves and sturdy winter footwear with non-slip soles.

Meeting Point – Ravnkloa, Trondheim

Meet us at Ravnkloa, directly behind the statue of The Last Viking.

Our boats are moored, or will arrive, on the right-hand side of the floating pontoon when facing the water.

Winter Safety and Boarding

The gangway leading down to the pontoon may become icy and slippery during winter.

Please hold firmly onto the handrail, walk carefully and follow the crew's instructions when boarding and disembarking.

Guests must be able to safely access the floating pontoon and step aboard a traditional wooden boat.

Weather Conditions

Winter weather is part of the experience, but safety always comes first. The route may be adjusted due to weather, ice or river conditions. If conditions are unsuitable for safe navigation, the tour may be cancelled and guests will receive a full refund.
