Paddle along the Ranfjord on a guided kayak tour from Moholmen marina. Discover both industrial landmarks and scenic coastal spots, with a stop at the local beach Mjølanstranda.

Join a kayak tour that blends nature with the history of Mo i Rana. From the marina at Moholmen, you head north with views toward Hemnesberget and the open sea beyond. Along the way, pass both old and new industrial sites, including the former coking plant, Toraneskaia, and the modern port of Mo i Rana.

The tour includes a beach break at Mjølanstranda, a local favorite where you can relax, enjoy a few local stories, and go for a swim if the weather allows. After the break, the tour continues past Moholmen’s charming old town.

Before returning, you’ll paddle right up to the “Havmannen” stone sculpture in the fjord – a city icon. This calm and accessible experience is perfect for those looking to discover Mo i Rana from a new perspective.
