Join a small group coastal journey along the Norwegian shoreline. Spend three days rowing between islands, foraging seafood, learning survival skills, and sleeping under the stars with experienced local guides.
Set out on a three-day nature experience along the scenic southern coast of Norway. Starting from either Kristiansand or Grimstad—depending on weather conditions—you'll travel by boat, exploring a stretch of unspoiled coastline in a close-knit group of 6–10 participants.
Your days will be spent rowing between islands, fishing, and hunting for shellfish. Learn how to cook over an open fire and prepare your own catch of the day. In the evenings, unwind by the bonfire and sleep outdoors under the open sky or in tents if the weather requires. Throughout the trip, your guides will offer practical instructions on navigation, safety, and outdoor skills.
Each morning begins with optional breathing and mindfulness sessions, focused on endurance, relaxation, and healthy living. Freediving or snorkeling is also available for those eager to discover underwater life firsthand. Whether you're traveling solo, with family, or as part of a group, this is a chance to experience coastal Norway in a grounded and meaningful way.
The trip operates from June to September, with exact start points in Kristiansand or Grimstad depending on weather. Participants must bring personal clothing suitable for three days in nature, packed in a watertight bag (max 100 x 40 x 60 cm). Essential items include a waterproof jacket and trousers, wool sweater, towel, beanie, and a silk sleeping bag liner. There may be limited phone charging access; power banks are recommended.

Day 1 – Into the Wild
The journey begins at 12:00, with departure from either Grimstad or Kristiansand. After a welcome session, we go through safety routines and practical instructions. This includes getting to know the team, learning about navigation, how to use a compass, and understanding local rules and regulations.
We spend around four hours on the water before arriving at our first basecamp. Here, we prepare dinner together, try our luck with fishing, and go hunting for shellfish along the shoreline. As night falls, we sleep outdoors under the open sky, immersed in the sounds and silence of nature.
Day 2 – Focus & Exploration
We start the morning with a guided breathing session to enhance endurance, focus, and mental clarity. After breakfast, we plan the next leg of our journey, study the maps, check the weather forecast, and discuss how to navigate safely – including what to do in unexpected situations.
We continue along the coast, and lunch can be enjoyed on the boat. In the evening, we arrive at either Ulvøysund or Randesund, where we make camp for the night. After a shared dinner, we set out on a late-night shellfish hunt around 23:00, followed by cooking crabs over an open fire deep into the night.
Day 3 – Return & Reflection
After a well-deserved late breakfast, we gather for a final planning session and take time to reflect on the journey so far. We then set off on the last stretch toward Kristiansand or another agreed destination. Upon arrival, transport will be arranged back to town.
