Enjoy a guided mountain hike in Kirkenes with friendly huskies as your companions. Walk through scenic fjord landscapes and experience the tranquility of northern Norway with local snacks and stories by the fire.

Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup from Thon or Scandic in Kirkenes and a short drive to Snow Resort Kirkenes in Sandnesdalen. Here, you’ll meet the local huskies and reindeer before setting off on a guided hike alongside your husky companion. The route follows the fjord and gently ascends into the surrounding hills, offering stunning views of the Arctic landscape.

At the top, the group gathers around a fire near a World War II airplane wreck, weather permitting. Here you can relax, enjoy Norwegian hiking snacks, and listen to stories about the region’s wildlife and huskies shared by your guide. There will be plenty of time to take photos and connect with the dogs before continuing the descent back to the camp.

After the hike, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Kirkenes, bringing an end to this peaceful northern experience.
