📍 Just outside the center of Terråk, the Stillelva winds through a calm and green landscape, where river, forest, and ridges create the setting for an accessible and atmospheric hike. This is a centrally located trail that combines nature experiences with good facilities – perfect for both everyday exercise and peaceful experiences in nature.
🌿 The Stillelva hike follows a gravelled and well-maintained route, with several rest areas and information boards along the way. The trail is suitable for all age groups and can also be used with a stroller. At the same time, the hike offers enough variation to feel exciting, with a clear highlight where the landscape opens up.
👀 From the highest point along the path, you get a great view of Terråkfjellet, and here you will also find a bench and a hiking code. This is a natural stopping point – a place to catch your breath, listen to the river, and take in the surroundings.
👣 For those who want more, the hike can be extended further: to the lit trail (about 3 km year-round trail on the opposite side of County Road 801), or further towards Terråkfjellet, for a more challenging nature experience.
⚠️ Note: The hiking trail has one steep section, but is otherwise easy to walk and clear.
🚗 Access: Take off from County Road 17 at Årsandøy and follow County Road 801 towards Terråk. After about 9 km, turn right towards the starting point of the hike.
