Join us for a relaxing and enriching 2-day cruise along the Helgeland coast aboard the yacht Opus One. This trip combines spectacular scenery, local history, and delicious culinary experiences—at a pace that lets you enjoy everything along the way. We offer two different 2-day round-trip cruises: one departing from Brønnøysund, and this one departing from Sandnessjøen.
Day 1 – Lovund, chocolate, and harbor life
Departure from Sandnessjøen at 10:00 a.m. We set sail along the Helgeland coast and enjoy the cruise through the archipelago.
After about 1.5 hours, we arrive at Lovund—the distinctive island known for its vibrant local community and the famous puffin colony with tens of thousands of puffins. Here you’ll have time for sightseeing before lunch at Lovund Hotel.
At 2:00 p.m., the tour continues by boat to Sjokoladebrygga on Dønna. After about an hour’s sail, we’ll be welcomed to an atmospheric experience featuring a guided tour, storytelling, and tastings of local chocolate specialties. Here, coastal culture blends with craftsmanship and a passion for great flavors.
The journey then continues to Augustbryggo, where we arrive around 5:00 p.m. The evening features dinner in maritime surroundings, a cozy atmosphere, and overnight accommodations right by the sea. The next morning, breakfast is served before new adventures await.
Day 2 – Sensory Experiences and Coastal Art
After breakfast, we set off again at 10:00 a.m. The first stop of the day is Etcetera, which offers an unconventional experience filled with unique sensory impressions.
We then continue out into the archipelago toward the iconic sculpture Petter on the Reef. From the boat, we’ll sail around the impressive 20-metric-ton figure while learning the story behind this distinctive work of art that guards the strait.
After an eventful tour, we return to Sandnessjøen, arriving at approximately 1:10 p.m.

The boat can accommodate 12 passengers, but we limit the number to 10 to ensure maximum comfort for guests on board. Per Kåre Hatten is a steady skipper with extensive experience.
