If you’re visiting Norway in the winter, your itinerary is incomplete without a husky sled ride! This dog sledding tour by Villmarkssenter is ideal for families with children and those who want to try something adventurous. The location is roughly 25 minutes from Tromsø. When you reach the centre, you will be provided with thermal overalls and a pair of boots to keep you warm in the blistering cold. When you are all set, the tour guide will take you on a 45-minute sled ride, which will be shared by another participant.
You will get to enjoy an adrenaline-filled ride on your sled powered by adorable mushers. The ride can go up to 1 hour or beyond, depending on the weather conditions.
