Located by the sea in the idyllic Gjerøyhamn, Hansinestua offers a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional historic home. The house has seven beds across four bedrooms and combines rustic charm with tranquillity. Enjoy the sound of the sea and the rich birdlife for a truly relaxing retreat.
The house has electricity but no running water. Washing water is available from an outdoor tap, and drinking water must be brought from Gjerøy. A traditional outhouse adds to the authentic coastal experience. From the terrace, you can watch the Hurtigruten cruise ship pass by and take in the peaceful garden next to the home of Jonny Losvik, the only permanent resident of Gjerøyhamn.
Travel is by express boat or ferry to Gjerøy, followed by a boat ride across the sound to Gjerøyhamn. The host can assist with transport. Available year-round. Pets are allowed, and cancellation is required at least 14 days before arrival.
